Keeping all of these singers together can often feel like an impossible mission, but the staff of Steel City Men’s Chorus still keeps us on the same page and singing the same song!
Our Artistic Director is responsible for the theme and production of our performances while a Chorus Manager handles the business and administration of the chorus.
Artistic Director
Dr. Fisher moved to Birmingham in 2018 from Minnesota, where she was Assistant Professor and Associate Director of Choral Activities at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. Currently, she is an adjunct professor at both Samford University and the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Jerry Pulliam, Jr.
Chorus Manager
Jerry assumed duties as chorus manager on 1 Jan 2022. Jerry has been a supporter of SCMC and other arts and community organizations since he moved to Birmingham. He has extensive experience in retail and sales, and is the busiest bee in our hive!
