Description
Instead of our normal song sponsorships, we’re offering character and actor sponsorships for this concert, as it’s a unique show that blends choral music and acting. Just like song sponsorships, character and actor sponsorships are meant to honor someone or something special or important to you. If you sponsor a character or actor, your name will appear in our program and be announced from stage.
Sponsor a character for $100 or be a featured sponsor for $150. The featured sponsor is listed first and further acknowledged in the program and from the stage.
Characters available for sponsorship for our upcoming show, Two Boys Kissing, on March 18, 2023, are:
Craig & Harry – the titular characters of the book who used to date but remain friends and are attempting the world record.
- Craig is gay, but is only out to his friends and teachers at school. Craig’s parents, however, do not know he is gay and find out while he is in the middle of his record-breaking kiss with Harry.
- Harry is an openly gay high school boy. His parents are supportive and attend the “Kiss” with Harry’s younger sibling.
Ryan & Avery – two high schoolers who meet at a teen LGBTQ prom and fall in love for the first time.
- Ryan is an openly gay cisgender high school boy who has blue hair. He meets Avery at the regional LGBTQ prom and the two begin seeing each other.
- Avery is a transgender high school boy who has pink hair. He meets Ryan at the regional LGBTQ prom and the two begin seeing each other. Even though Avery’s parents are supportive of his gender identity, he still struggles with how to come out as trans to Ryan.
Cooper – a gay high school boy who is still closeted and struggles with self-acceptance.
- Cooper is a high school boy who is secretly gay and hides it from everyone at school and everyone at home. When his parents find out, he is forced to leave home with nowhere to turn. He feels lost, alone, and angry at the world.
